Arrival details: Please save the address for Firefly Valley Pottery and phone number for Ona in your phone: Firefly Valley Pottery, 25 Central Ave West, Asheville, NC 28806 .  We are located in West Avl. in the neighborhood across the street from the DMV and big Goodwill :-) The best phone number for Ona is 828-989-5259. Please park on the left hand side of Ona's property on the gravel parking pad and walk with your child to and from class. For safety, no children are allowed to walk on the parking lot gravel alone.  You may expect a greeting by Oscar the dog as you arrive - he doesn’t always understand that he does not have the power to stop and control vehicles with his mind, please enter the lot with patience and caution. Silly dog. ; - ) Sound good? *
COVID Details: Families and Firefly Valley teachers will do self-checks before arriving to class. Any students or teachers who have symptoms of COVID, or exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID, may not attend class that day. Participants will need a negative COVID test to return to class. Since we have all outdoor programming children and staff will not be required to wear masks, but will be fully supported if they choose to do so. In the even that the CDC changes their recommendations, Ona will follow those at that time (and might end up requiring masks, based on current research.) We will do our best to fully support any child or staff who self-selects for more restrictive social distancing or mask wearing than the policies outlined above. There is a Porta-Potty with hand sanitizer/soap and water so students will not need to go indoors at any time.  Does this policy work for you? Let us know here if you have any questions. *
I understand that COVID times are ever-changing. If Ona has to cancel this program due to unforeseen global events, I will get a full refund. *
