Local changes to LC Subject Headings about "Illegal immigration"

An informal group of library workers led by ALA's Services to Refugees, Immigrants, and Displaced Persons (SRIDP) Sub-Committee is asking for feedback about how libraries and library consortia have locally treated the Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) "Illegal aliens," "Illegal immigration" and their variants (such as "Children of illegal aliens"). We plan on keeping this survey open indefinitely. Responses will be compiled and shared in open access format with the library community in April 2023. Personal names and email addresses will not be shared publicly. Institution names and deidentified comments may be shared in the public report.
