HatásPont is a youth community space open to all young people in Gyöngyös and its surroundings. Youth are between  the age of 5- 18. It's an inclusive community however the main proportion of the students are part of the local romany/romani/roma community (not Romanian).

We provide free inclusive services for children, and young people to develop their skills- and personalities, and most of the children are in their primary school years.

What is inclusion?

Inclusion in education refers to a model wherein students with special needs spend most or all of their time with non-special needs students. Many of the children come from disadvantaged background, living in a segregated area in the town.  So inclusion for us mean an open communitiy for young with disabilities, or/and with disadvantaged background. We provide afternoon educational services, personality development, and helping the kids in homework, etc.

The volunteers are peer mentors of the children to help them develop, mainly in the field of social competencies, and foreign languages.

„Impactpoint” (HatásPont Tanoda) is  in Gyöngyös,  80 km from Budapest. Gyöngyös is a boring little town with 33.000 people, without subway, tram. Because it's a little slow, and grey town in the north-eastern part of Hungary, we search those young volunteers, who can imagine their life here for a year with great motivation, and high resiliance. Budapest is available by bus from early morning to evening, the buses go in every hour.

IF YOU DON'T SEND YOUR CV, we won't contact with you.
