Faculty who would like to introduce their students to the Writing Center’s services may invite a consultant to join their class in person or online on Zoom or Collaborate Ultra. Alternatively, you can bring your class to our bright, airy studio space in Johnson Center 227E. Whether we come to you or you come to us, a student consultant will deliver a 5- to 10-minute presentation that describes the Writing Center’s services (a “roadshow”). If you would like the consultant to demonstrate the registration process, add 5 minutes or so to the presentation time. If you come to our space, you’ll also get a brief tour.

We provide roadshows for classes, committees, student groups, departments, or programs. To maintain a safe workspace, we will have fewer consultants on site than usual, so while we will do our best to fulfill requests for in-person roadshows, we may need to ask you to host the consultant online.

Please fill out one form for each class or section for which you are requesting a roadshow. Please submit requests two weeks in advance, as our staff is booked for consulting well in advance. Thank you!
