Interested in joining a meeting with your lawmaker?
The Fairness For All Day at the West Virginia Legislature will be held on Feb. 20. This is a day for members of West Virginia's LGBTQ community to meet with their lawmakers and advocate for more inclusive legislation. If you're joining us on lobby day, reach out to your lawmaker asap. Let them know you're coming to town, and you'd like to meet with them.

No sure who your lawmaker is? Visit the FWV Action Center.

Our highest priority at the moment is defeating House Bill 2007. If you are a member of the transgender community or the parent of a transgender person, please considering filling out this form. If we can secure a meeting for you, someone from our team will be in touch ASAP. We'll support you with training, talking points, and someone from our team will be there to support you at the meeting.

This form will be used to organize lobbying meetings on Feb. 20 — but we can't wait to start having these conversations with lawmakers. So even if you can't make it to lobby day, we encourage you to fill out this form and we'll schedule as many meetings with key lawmakers as we can, as soon as we can.

Your safety is our top priority throughout this entire process. Any information shared on this form will remain private and will only be shared with the small team of our staff members and partners who are organizing these meetings.

Note: Completing this form will not opt you in to receive any emails from our organization. But if you'd like to receive emails about our work, sign-up here.

Legislators are have busy schedules, and oftentimes we don't get to talk to them as long as we'd like. We encourage folks to think about what they want to say to a legislator ahead of time, so that they can prioritize their main points.
If you had only 3 minutes with your lawmaker, what would you want to say to them? *
If you had unlimited time with your legislator, what would you want to say to them?
Would anything limit or prohibit you from traveling to the Capitol on Feb. 20 to participate in this lobby day? If so, please let us know. Several folks have stepped forward to help provide transportation or arrange carpools.
Do you have any accessibility needs that you'd like us to be aware of?
