Return Merchandise Authorization Request Form DEPRECIATED
Prior to submitting your RMA request, please familiarize yourself with our repair, warranty, return, and RMA Shipment policies:

Repair Policy
  1. All products must be returned to the original point of sale for repair. If your original purchase was not made through ROBOTIS, please contact your retailer for RMA prior to submitting this form.
  2. The RMA form must be complete, and include all relevant information.
  3. Once the RMA Form has been submitted, ROBOTIS will issue an email containing your RMA Number and shipping information.
  4. After receiving an RMA Number, you may ship your item(s) to ROBOTIS using the provided prepaid shipping label.
  5. ROBOTIS reserves the right to charge customers for parts and labor if the returned item(s) are deemed non-defective by ROBOTIS.
  6. ROBOTIS is not responsible for the cost of shipping unless the item(s) are deemed defective by ROBOTIS upon evaluation. 
  7. ROBOTIS must receive payment for repairs before item(s) can be scheduled for return shipment.
Warranty Policy
  1. Unless otherwise noted, ROBOTIS warranties it's products against defects for 1 year. Products that are not manufactured by ROBOTIS or are co-developed with ROBOTIS may not be covered under warranty.
  2. ROBOTIS battery products with Lithium-Polymer chemistry (Li-Po) are warrantied for 6 months from the date of purchase. Over-discharge, misuse, or incorrect charging practices may void this warranty.
  3. ROBOTIS' manufacturers warranty does not cover normal wear & tear, abuse to the product, improper use of the product, evidence of tampering/disassembly, or accidental damage. Worn gears, burnt motors/PCBs, and damaged cables are not covered under warranty. Modification of the DYNAMIXEL Firmware to disable Error Status or Shutdown Alarms may also void the warranty.
Return Policy
  1. All returns must be completed through ROBOTIS' RMA process.
  2. If you are not satisfied with your product, you may request a return within 30 days of your purchase for an exchange or refund. A 20% restocking fee will apply.
  3. The product must be unopened and in its original packaging.
  4. You are responsible for the cost of shipping your item(s) to ROBOTIS. When returning item(s), please package them appropriately to avoid damage during shipment. ROBOTIS is not responsible for any damage caused by poor packaging and has the right to refuse refunds, replacements, or exchanges if items are damaged upon receipt.
  5. Refunds, replacements, or exchanges will not be granted until ROBOTIS has received the items and deemed them acceptable for refund, replacement, or exchange.
  6. Please allow ROBOTIS up to 14 business days to process your refund from the time your items are received. If an immediate replacement is needed, you are welcome to place a new order while waiting for your refund to be approved.
  7. ROBOTIS reserves the right to deny refunds, replacements, or exchanges if the returned items are deemed unsatisfactory or non-defective by ROBOTIS. In such an event, ROBOTIS will not be responsible for the costs of shipping the items back to the customer
RMA Shipment Policy
  1. ROBOTIS will not provide any refunds, replacements, exchanges, or repairs without an RMA Number.
  2. ROBOTIS has the right to refuse your shipment if you have not been issued an RMA Number.
  3. In the event that RMA repairs are not covered under warranty, you will be responsible for all shipping charges.
  4. ROBOTIS cannot schedule a return shipment for submitted items until all fees associated with the RMA have been paid.
  5. ROBOTIS is unable to provide return shipping labels for international orders. International return shipments must be paid by the customer, and will be reimbursed if any repairs are covered under warranty service.
       All Packages sent to ROBOTIS must include:
  • The RMA# on the outside of the package.
  • A printed copy of the submitted RMA form or RMA issuance email.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and e-mail so that our team may contact you. 
RMA Abandonment

Throughout the RMA process, ROBOTIS will send emails regarding the status of your RMA, anytime we require approval before proceeding, and to provide any invoices or estimates for costs incurred. If these RMA process emails do not receive a response for three (3) weeks, ROBOTIS will begin the RMA abandonment process.

During the fourth week ROBOTIS will send an email containing an RMA abandonment warning with an abandonment date along with your RMA process update. This abandonment warning will be sent on three (3) consecutive weeks prior to abandonment. If no response is received to any of these warnings, your RMA will be considered abandoned, and your item(s) will become property of ROBOTIS. If you wish to request the return of an abandoned item email CS@ROBOTIS.com, but ROBOTIS cannot guarantee the return of any items considered abandoned.
