Get your district information in front of local farms, food hubs, and local food distributors!
This online training event will provide participants with valuable information and best practices to source local foods and communicate directly with farmers, processors and local food hubs. All participants will receive the tools to develop a local food buyer profile to share with farmers and processors answering their questions and providing vital background info for your buyer site. An introduction to the IL Market Maker platform, an important tool for sourcing locally, will be shared. Once participants attend the training they may request assistance to build a profile.
