It’s brrrrrisk out there, but that’s no reason to hibernate! Shake off your winter torpor at our pawsitively FREE Polar Bear Party on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 12:00 - 3:00 pm. This all-ages outdoor event will feature bonfires and toasty snacks, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Don’t give us the cold shoulder; join us and find out why there’s snow place like Chewonki Neck in the winter.

Please bring your own outdoor equipment, like sleds, snowshoes, ice skates, cross-country skis, and warm waterproof clothing.

Parking is limited, please consider carpooling.

Note that some activities are weather dependent.

Who’s invited? - Current and former Camp Chewonki, Maine Coast Semester, Elementary and Middle School, and Waypoint families. - Outdoor Classroom alumni, chaperones, and their families - Current and former Chewonki staff members - Organizational partners and colleagues - Current and former donors - Local Families - Families who wish to join us for Camp or Maine Coast Semester in the next year.
