This is an application form to join the Game Workers Australia (GWA) Community Discord Server, so that you can take part in discussions, learn from other like-minded colleagues, and stay up to date on GWA issues.

We can't wait to meet you! However, there is some reading to do first.

This is not a union membership form. Filling out this form does not make you a member of the Professionals Australia (PA) union or of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) union.

GWA aims to organise workers in the Australian game industry. If you work in games in Australia, there are two unions you can join, and we encourage you to join one today.

All game development workers, whether you're in programming, art, design, or any other discipline, can join Professionals Australia's new Game Workers Australia package which launched May 2022.

Alternatively, anyone involved in game media, marketing, or streaming can join the Media, Entertainment, and Arts Alliance instead.
