DASD families are responsible for securing an instrument rental including the proper book and accessories. Our area music stores need at least 1 week to process orders, so we are requesting all orders to be placed by 9/24 in order for timely delivery. Instrument sizing and rental information is found on Mrs. Baer's website in a handbook and a video. By checking the box below, you agree that you have read the handbook and watched the video, and that you have the information needed to order an instrument. *

Checking the box below confirms enrollment in the String Orchestra, which includes 30 minute lessons once a cycle, 2-3 early morning orchestra rehearsals in the spring, and a performance in the spring. The Concert date/time/format will be determined in the spring due to the uncertainty of future COVID guidelines. Lessons will be held on D DAYS starting on October 1. You will receive a schedule before the first lesson. Students will be enrolled in the Schoology Orchestra Course in early October. *

The Downingtown Area School District charges a $25 music participation fee for 3rd grade orchestra. Activity fees are paid online at http://www.payschoolscentral.com. Students enrolled in the free/reduced lunch plan are eligible to have their fees waived, but are required to log into the system. More information can be found on the DASD website. Fees must be paid by Friday, October 29, 2021. *
