Students are invited to present posters and papers describing ideas, projects, or research that reflects community-engaged scholarship. Submissions may range from works-in-progress to published articles.

Who: Undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines at The University of Alabama

What: Annual Showcase of Community Engaged Scholarship (Students, faculty, staff and community partners are invited to attend.)

When: Wednesday, April 15, 2020

Where: Bryant Conference Center, Rast Room

Why: The Showcase provides a beneficial presentation opportunity for student-to-scholar researchers while highlighting the involvement of UA students in community-based research. Additionally, it promotes networking among students, faculty and community partners, as well as conveys the University’s ongoing commitment to research, the community and the development of students as scholars in their chosen fields of study.

A prize will be awarded for best poster.

Students whose work is selected for inclusion will receive a certificate of participation.
