Thank you community reader for taking the time to participate in the review process for proposed updates to the Core and Extended Reading List. This form will request your feedback on each novel you read for each of the following areas (from BP 6161.1) in relation to their requested grade levels:
- Support of the approved curriculum and related course content
- Accuracy of content
- Absence of bias and fairness of presentation
- Age/grade/subject appropriateness
- Demographic/cultural characteristics and needs of PYLUSD students
- Overall quality of writing and reflection of community/district standards
- Promotion of good citizenship
- Aligns with all applicable Board policies
- Promotes good citizenship and American ideals
- Final thoughts (concerns, overall value, and feedback)
When possible please cite specific page numbers related to your feedback in each area. As you evaluate the text, please rate your agreement with each statement on a scale of 1 to 3.

2 - Somewhat
3 - Fully
