I am a goldsmith who uses lost wax casting (hand carved, not CAD) to create complex forms in metal. I only work in precious metals in order to preserve the purity of alloys in my studio. I also I use ethically sourced stones and recycled metals in my practice. This does mean that my work is more expensive. For my own protection and to verify the commitment of my clients, I require payment up front.
I charge a minimum of 200 for labor, casting, and shipping depending on the complexity of the jewelry in addition to the cost of materials (verified by you). Earrings and pendants may cost more.
I will take a look at your completed form and decide if your request is possible for me. Once I have done so, we will chat about what options are available.
If you would like to continue, I charge up front for to the price of materials.
You'll be invoiced that amount through Paypal.
You will have the ability to make modifications as desired up until I have finished carving the piece. Changes to the design after the wax has been verified will cost more depending on the difficulty.
Once your spot on the waitlist comes up, you can expect around 2 months till shipping.
