Race Description:
Run or walk through Duke University’s East Campus Loop with us on April 13th! The gravel loop offers beautiful natural scenery as well as views of the campus. Whether racing for a personal best or enjoying a beautiful spring day with friends, this is the place to be! The race will conclude with fun, food, and an awards ceremony. Strollers and bikers are allowed, however, please be advised that the trail is a dirt trail and narrow in areas. Therefore, we encourage gear designed for trail usage and require all trail users to call out to others when passing. Proceeds will be donated to the VCU-Marquette Challenge.
The VCU-Marquette Challenge is a grassroots, student-led fundraising effort that supports the mission of the Foundation of Physical Therapy Research. The Foundation’s vision is “shaping the future of healthcare through physical therapy research.” Their work strengthens the profession of physical therapy by “defining the value of physical therapy, providing data to help professionals deliver the best possible care, and developing innovative treatments and approaches.”
Register before March 21 at 11:59 pm to GUARANTEE a specific t-shirt size. We will still have shirts for those after that date but size preference will not be guaranteed.
