Spring Break Art Camp 2024
The Spring Break Art Camp is a week long camp at the qathet Art Centre and beyond. We will spend time in the studio, nearby forest and beach from 9am to 3pm. Spring Break art camp is for children age 6 to 12 years. The cost is $205, payment confirms registration.

We work together to support guided and free flow instruction.

Artists will guide explorations in painting and multidisciplinary creativity inspired by nature to develop each campers language of expression. Our focus is child centred creativity. There are a variety of materials and medium to create with and opportunities for skill development. Our goal is to have an artist instructor per 6 children to best support one on one needs.

Please read and agree to the Accident Release and Financial Responsibility Waiver: By registering for the Youth Art Programming  at qathet Art Centre I declare that my child is in good physical condition and has no disease or injury that would be aggravated by participation in activities related to Youth Art Programming at qathet Art Centre. I understand the art program provided by qathet Art Centre, as well as understand the inherent dangers and the possibility of not reasonably foreseeable risks involved with my child’s participation in these programs including the risk of personal and bodily injury and damage to my child and my property while participating in these programs. I further understand and acknowledge that participants in such programs are not covered under insurance of qathet Art Centre. I hereby give my consent and authorize and grant permission to representative(s) of qathet Art Centre to administer first aid and/or to obtain emergency medical care or treatment from any licensed physician or hospital and/or activities. I freely and voluntarily execute this release and with such knowledge, assume the risk of personal injury and/or property loss arising from or in any connection with my child’s participation in the youth art program offered by qathet Art Centre. I hereby release and forever discharge qathet Art Centre and any and all agents of qathet Art Centre and the qathet Art Council from any and all liability, claim, cause of action, demand or damages from injury, damage or loss of any kind to my child and my property as a result of my child’s participation in any art programs of qathet Art Centre. I further waive, release, absolve and agree to indemnify and hold harmless qathet Art Centre as a result of my child’s participation in any educational program sponsored by qathet Art Centre and qathet Art Council. I understand that should my child become a disruptive force during the educational program that the instructor may choose to release my child from the program. *
