Plant a Tree for Earth Day
Hauppauge Public Library will be giving away tree and shrub saplings grown by the New York State Tree Nursery to commemorate Earth Day. All saplings are native to Long Island and may include: bayberry, beach plum, and eastern red cedar. (Teens are invited to earn one hour of community service credit for planting a tree.)

The saplings will be delivered to the library mid-April to early May.  Please pre-register by using this Google Form so we can notify you when the saplings have arrived. Your sapling will be held for 24 hours. Available while supplies last.
