**Summer 2024** Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging: Innovation Internship Application Form
We are a fast-paced, start-up styled team consisting of undergraduate, graduate, and recent graduates from all disciplines implementing design thinking and entrepreneurial efforts to shape inclusion initiatives at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. We collaborate to generate new, innovative approaches on mission-critical projects that vary widely from developing local pipeline programs to curriculum changes in medical school education. We are social entrepreneurs who explore diversity strategies across different sectors (tech, education, business) and adapt them to the school of medicine. Given the autonomy to lead our projects, we are a high-energy team on a mission to translate metrics, research and trends into new diversity strategies. Complete this application if you would like to be considered for an internship/volunteer position.

PLEASE NOTE: This internship is for undergraduate/graduate students, and will be held in person.

Summer:

Apply by Friday, April 26, 2024 at 5 pm, interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. We are accepting up to 6 new applicants for our team this Summer. Summer internships run from Early May (flexible) - August 9.

Pay:
*$17/hr May-July 1, $17.50/hr July 1-Aug 9

Summer Coach responsibilities may include:
*Lead high school and/or college students through one of our pipeline programs: ARCHES, CORE, GEP
*Develop, support, advance community outreach and pipeline programs within the District of Columbia, middle schools, high schools to begin to scope out talent pipeline partnerships.
*Design a welcoming community space in our office that serves as a campus center for students, faculty, and staff.
*Manage logistics for ODEI events (flyer creation, communication, calendar invites, etc.)
*Implement website updates
*Research diversity promotion strategies in higher ed & medicine
