The Clerk of Course is the person responsible for the actual running of a race meeting. He or she ensures that the meeting is conducted in accordance with the the current GCR’s and is responsible for all issues of safety.
The seminar covers topics such as:

1. Role of the Clerk of Course
2. The Race Meeting
3. Penalties and Determinations
4. After the race meeting
5. People skills and communication

There is also a requirement to complete a written assessment.
All NEW Officials must complete the Ridernet Level 1 Online Operational Official Course prior to attending this course.
