Prevent the Suspension of Ryan Eaton
On 9/9/21, Ryan Eaton created and shared a Google Chrome Extension that automatically accepts the NJIT Health Pledge. For this extension, he has been accused and found guilty of violating NJIT Code of Student Conduct, Article 5, Section 6.1 and 6.2 (image below).

An appeal process is in the works, and a Conduct Board Hearing will take place September 24th. If the Conduct Board Hearing is unsuccessful, he will be suspended for two semesters after just 3 weeks of being here.

This petition is so that people are aware of the situation if the decision were to be made against him. Even if he did break the Code of Student Conduct, this punishment would not fit the crime.

Based on the information available to me, I agree that the decision to suspend Ryan Eaton is unjust and should be overturned. *
