Registration: Using Blender to Create Virtual Sets

POSTPONED TO MAY 2!

Tuesday, May 2 7-10pm

Led by Ryan Clayton

ONLINE: The zoom link will be shared a few days before the workshop. Ryan will reach out to participants with guidance on downloading required software.

Interested in 3D modelling to create virtual sets? Join Ryan Clayton for an introductory workshop on Blender 3D. Participants will be introduced to Blender, a free and open source 3D modelling and rendering software. Ryan Clayton is a visual artist with 7 years of experience with Blender who is excited to welcome new visitors to the world of 3D animation and renders. This is an introductory workshop and requires no prior knowledge of 3D modelling software. Participants will learn how to navigate in 3D space and how to download and fix 3D models to create their own virtual scenery. At the end of the workshop participants will have created and rendered 3 still images of their virtual sets. A 3-button mouse and keyboard with a number pad are recommended but not required.
