NSU THEATRE Preview & Scholarship Audition Weekend Registration Form

READ THE FOLLOWING VERY, VERY CAREFULLY:

All events will be held in the Brown Hall Mainstage Theater at 2401 Corprew Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia -- enter campus at Gate 3 on Corprew.  Virtual options and information will be sent to those selecting that option.


INTERVIEW/AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:
You do NOT have to interview or audition to major in Drama & Theatre.  Interviews and auditions are only for students seeking scholarship assistance.


PERFORMERS AUDITIONING FOR SCHOLARSHIP:
Present a 60-second monologue from any source that shows strong dramatic or comedic content. This is REQUIRED.

You may also offer one or more song selections or dance pieces to present if you sing and/or dance.  This is optional for those who can sing and/or dance.


DESIGNERS AND TECHNICIANS INTERVIEWING FOR SCHOLARSHIP:
Be prepared to discuss your interests and goals in technical theatre.  If you have any materials to share, such as designs or projects, please have them ready to view.


STUDENT ALUMNI PANEL/ZOOM:
This event will happen in person and be streamed zia ZOOM to virtual participants.


FACILITIES TOUR:
Will only happen in person.  Virtual participants will watch a pre-recorded video of the facilities.


VIEWING "A SOLDIERS PLAY":
This event will only happen in person and only on FRIDAY and SATURDAY.  This is the only event without virtual options.
