Join us for an exciting program of Engineering through woodwork for weeks of June 20th to August 29th. This is a full day outdoors summer for children where they learn to work with real tools building meaningful projects out of wood.  We strongly believe children thrive in active, nature-based, outdoor setting where they are breathing fresh air and learning about their environment while creating their projects.  We are very involved in community projects such as food distribution and environmental programs which we will involve the students every week in.  

We are accepting registrations for children between 4 to 11 years old in 2 separate age groups.  Small groups of students will switch between outdoors and inside so that each group is separated. Our program is forest school inspired where students spend a good portion of the day actively exploring our local parks and learning about nature while working with their hands.  

*Every week we will have at least 1 field trip day to Liberty State park in multiple locations.  We are cooperating with the Nature Interpretive Center to provide a weekly field trip learning about the local bird species, marine life, plants and insects.

Daily schedule:
9:00- 9:30  Drop off, free play
9:30- 9:45 snack
9:45 - 11:30 Project work indoors in small groups while the rest the group is outside
12:00- 1:00 Lunch outdoors unless bad weather
1:00 - 3:00 Nature Discovery with small groups while the others work indoors
3:00 - 3:30 Reflections, team building saying good bye for the day
3:30 - 4:00 Pick up

Health procedures:
When the kids will be indoors they will wash hands and will work with their own sanitized set of tools and materials.  When the kids are outside we will provide sanitizer and wet wipes to clean hands.  At the end of each day all tools and materials will be cleaned and sanitized in preparation for next day.  

2 age groups: 4-7 years old, 8-11 years old
