So…well, hello there! Turns out we’ve been coerced into doing a few of the dreaded ”by request” shows. This boils down to YOU voting for your favourite Opeth songs culled from a list that we’ve put together (ie songs that we know/believe/hope we can play fairly well).
The festivals in question are Tons of Rock Festival in Norway on June 27th, Wacken Open Air Festival on August 1st, in Germany, Rockstadt Extreme in Romania on August 3rd, and Bloodstock in the UK on August 9th.
There are a few rarities in there, a few ”hits” and a few ”whatever” songs to choose from. Depending on our given set length at the festival of your choice we’ll put together a nice list of the top-voted songs that adds up and matches the stage-time in question. Have fun! Be gentle!
