SMYC - Silent Auction, April 6th - 2024

SMYC is hosting a Silent Auction to raise funds for the Youth Sailing Program!

We will start taking bids for the Silent Auction on Tuesday April 2nd, and will close on Saturday April 6th, 7pm.

The selection of prizes below will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. On this page you can place your bid for the prize you are interested in. You may bid on multiple prizes.

From Thursday April 4th - The highest bid per item will be available on a spreadsheet on the same website.

At 5 PM on April 6th, an on-island raffle will start. During the raffle we will showcase the bids on the Silent Auction items live, on a screen at the Yacht Club so you can view them from our website.

If you’re off-island you can follow the auction live via the spreadsheet on our website.

The winners of the Silent Auction will be contacted the morning of April 8th, 2024, to finalize the payment.
If the winner doesn't provide their credit card information to the SMYC office before April 8th, 5 PM, the prize will go to the next highest bidder.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- All times indicated are AST time.
Be aware that there is a difference between a raffle item and a silent auction item. Raffle winners are drawn from tickets sold on-island. Silent Auction items are posted on the website and bid on by people around the world and attendants of the event on April 6th from 5-8pm.
- Be aware of the minimum bid on the silent auction items! Bids under the minimum will not be accepted.
- If you win the bid and you are off-island; we can only take credit cards as payments (No AmEx)
- We are asking the winner to pay a 2% credit card fee, to allow the Youth Sailing Program to benefit the most of your donation.
- Once you have paid the winning bid you will be put in contact with the host / organization to collect your prize.
- Bids go in increments of $5. If the increment is not sufficient the bid will not be accepted.
- Bidding for category 1 ends at 7:00PM on April 6th.
- Bidding for category 2 ends at 7:30PM on April 6th.
- Bidding for category 3 ends at 8:00PM on April 6th.
- 10 Minutes before the end of bidding for each category the highest bid will freeze and we will not update anymore on the spreadsheet and at the yacht club to make sure bidding on and off location remains fair.
