Registration Form 2023 - Lifesaving Club @Reserva Conchal
DATES: May 2nd to June 27th (9 weeks program).
SCHEDULE: Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Schedule on Tuesdays:
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm for the Mini Lifeguards (5 to 10 years old).
4:30 pm to 5:30 pm for the Junior Lifeguards (11 to 16 years old).
Schedule on Saturdays: 10:00 am to 11:30 am for all.
Memberships fee for the trimester (9 weeks):
1x/ week: $105 + txs
2x/ week: $175 +txs
Drop in: $12 + txs
Age groups:
Mini Lifeguards (ML)- 5 to 10 years old.
Junior Lifeguards (JL) - 11 to 16 years old.
Location: Playa Conchal in front of Reserva Conchal Beach Club.
Please note that the access from the Reserva Conchal main gate is only for residents and their guests. If you do not have access to enter, the other alternative is to park in Brasilito and walk through the beach.
Program Description
The lifesaving Club is a great introduction to Lifesaving Sport which involves learning lifesaving skills in a fun and competitive setting. The Junior Lifeguards will develop general fitness and swimming skills including stroke correction, endurance and speed. Lifesaving Sport combines swimming, running, and paddle board. It is a great way to bridge the gap between swimming lessons and leadership courses while also developing stronger swimming abilities, staying fit while having fun.
Our mission is to educate the youth of our beach community to be advocates for ocean safety and leaders in keeping our beaches safe. Junior lifeguards will become familiar with the hazards of the ocean as we visit various beach formations on our diverse Pacific Coast. As ambassadors of our community, junior guards will learn about ocean behavior, lifesaving techniques, emergency procedures, and first aid. The importance of teamwork will be reinforced during lifesaving instruction and competition opportunities. This program is intended to unite our community in order to keep our beaches safe and enjoyable for all beachgoers.
