AK PTA Convention Scholarship Form
This scholarship for is open to all PTA members. We ask that you fill this out completely and truthfully. We know times are tough and we want to make sure we give as many opportunities as possible to our members to attend a beneficial event like the Annual Alaska PTA Convention.  1 scholarship will be given to 1 member per region. We have 8 regions. This should help cover all/or some costs of travel or registration cost. 

While we encourage all of our local units to set aside funds for leaders and/or members to attend our Annual PTA Convention, we recognize that this may not be possible for some units. If your unit cannot afford to send leaders to convention, we highly recommend applying for this scholarship.

Applications are due by 5:00pm on Friday, March 31. Recipients will be notified no later than Friday, April 27, 2023.

Priority will be given to PTAs less than 3 years old, rural/small schools, and/or Title I schools. Because funds are limited, scholarships may be limited to one person/unit for each region.

  • Convention is April 28 and 29, 2023 at the Alaska PowerCom Building in Fairbanks, Alaska
  • Friday 12-8pm
  • Saturday 9-6 pm
  • State Reflections Award Ceremony, which will take place on Saturday during lunch.
  • Scholarships are transferable to another member of the same PTA unit.
Hotel rooms are $159/night at the Candlewood.
