Hello Laker families my name is Jason Muhl.  I will be running the Prior Lake tennis camp this summer.  I have coached at Burnsville HS, Eastview HS, The Blake School, and most recently I was the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Macalester College for the past seventeen years.  I am excited to announce that our summer registration is now live and ready to go for the 2024 summer season!  Below you will find the link to our camp registration. After you have filled out the registration form, please pay using Venmo (@Jason-Muhl-1).  If you have any questions about the camp or which level to register for please don’t hesitate to reach out and I will do my best to respond quickly and answer any questions you might have.  We are looking forward to seeing your athletes on the courts this summer!

Level 1 Intermediate/Middle School - This group will focus on all major fundamentals of the game of tennis.  Learning the proper way to hit groundstrokes, volleys, and serves will be covered.  An overall understanding of the game (scoring, sportsmanship, and rules) will also be covered.  This level is for the intermediate middle school players usually ages 9-12.

Level 2 Advanced/JV+ Varsity - This group will emphasize much of the same concepts as level 1 but will also work on strategy of the game.  This group is designed for the upper level JV and lower level Varsity players or those who strive to be playing Varsity within the next year.  (JV/Varsity skill level).

June Session:  June 10th - June 27th  (Mon, Tue, & Thur) + Wed match play

Level 1 - 9:00 - 10:30am ($250)

Level 2 - 10:30 - 12:00pm ($250)

July Session: July 10th - 27th  (Mon, Tue, & Thur) + Wed match play

Level 1 - 9:00 - 10:30am ($250)

Level 2 - 10:30 - 12:00pm ($250)

**If there is rain, Fridays are the makeup day!
