JASSA AND JASK: TOMODACHI Initiative Home-stay Family Application
Thank you for your applying to become a JASSA TOMODACHI Initiative host family. The Japan America Society of Kumamoto is now selecting students.
The TOMODACHI initiative is public-private partnership between the U.S.-Japan Council and the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, with support from the Government of Japan. We seek to foster “TOMODACHI Generation” of young American and Japanese leaders who are committed to and engaged in strengthening U.S.-Japan relations, appreciate each other’s countries and culture, and possess the global skills and mindsets needed to contribute to and thrive in a more cooperative prosperous, and secure world.
JASSA is a non-profit organization, so this home-stay program is volunteer based.
