Suffolk Sixes 2024 - Registration
Suffolk Sixes is back for 2024

This year the competition will once again take place at Copleston Sports Centre, Ipswich, on Wednesday evenings between 7pm-9pm

The dates will be 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th June and 5th July - this is subject to change depending on number of teams and fixtures that need completing.
 
Suffolk Sixes : Playing Rules
 
Teams can field five outfield players plus one goalkeeper, with 3 (recommended) substitutes

Substitutions are repeated but you must ask the referee first before entering the field of play

All fixtures will be around 16 minutes long with no half-time break and no change of ends

The preferred payment method is a one off upfront payment for the 5 weeks of £125 however you can pay weekly if required, which would be £25 per team per week (roughly £3 per person based on a squad of 8) You should have a minimum of 3 competitive games per week. If you are unable to attend one week you will still be required to make payment of £25 as this covers the cost of hiring the facility and referees etc.

Players MUST be 16 years or over to compete in the the Suffolk Sixes competition

Shin pads are compulsory - you will not be allowed to play without Shin pads

Suitable footwear for the 3G must be worn

All jewellery must be removed before entering the field of play

The ball CAN be played over head height

Players CAN enter and score within the penalty areas

The ball is re-entered in play through kick-ins

Opposing players must stand a minimum of five yards away from a free kick

A goalkeeper cannot deliberately handle the ball when passed back to them by a team mate

The winners will be decided by a league format with 3 points for a win, 2 points for a scored draw, 1 point for a goalless draw and 0 points for a loss.

If at the end of the competition a team are tied on points head to head result will be used if still tied a penalty shootout will take place (goal difference will not be taken into account)
