Oakland Rope Collective 4 Week Floor Play Series Aug 2019
This enrollment form is for SweetZephyr and FutureFlowering's 4 week comprehensive floor play rope education program. The curriculum will cover basic physical safety; emotional safety, communication, power dynamics, and negotiation; cultural and historical context; and a range of Japanese inspired rope techniques and patterns that will empower participants to confidently top and bottom a diversity of floor based (non suspension) rope scenes.

We will be offering subsequent 12 week and 4 week modules covering intermediate technique and partial suspension, and full suspension, over the next 6-8 months. ORC is a culture and community building group as much as a rope education group, so we do ask that people wishing to study intermediate and suspension rope with us take our floor work module as well.

Students who are in process or have completed a rope module with us are also free to participate in our weekly rope open practice at no additional cost (which happens on a different night than class). This is a social and practice evening where the facilitators and graduates of previous ORC programs

Location: A private warehouse in SOMA. Address will be provided to students upon registration.

Cost: $200 per tying pair for the 4 week series (no additional cost for open practice nights, and you're free to continue attending even if you don't continue to take additional courses with us). If finances are a barrier to participation, please feel free to reach out to us at the email below. No one will be turned away for financial reasons and we will work with you to figure out an arrangement.

Timing: Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:30. 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, and 8/28
