We envision rock climbing being inclusive, accessible and representative of all people. The Ascend program will prioritize people interested in climbing who have socioeconomic need. We would like to encourage BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and women to enter the world of climbing.

All applications will be reviewed by the TCC Ascend Committee, if a grant is approved, the applicant is expected to participate.

For scholarships requested based on financial need, TCC will use the following table from the US Dept. of Health and Human Services to determine the definition of poverty level, as a guideline.
