The purpose of this contract is to ensure MBS student-athletes have a positive playing/learning environment. Please place a checkmark agreeing with each clause and sign below that you have read and understand the parent responsibilities of a MBS student-athlete.

I understand winning is important to the team, but the primary objective is promoting an environment of growth and learning. *

I will demand that my child treat other players, coaches, officials and spectators with respect regardless of race, creed, color, sex or ability. *

I am responsible for the behavior of all family members at games. *
Required
I will respect the opposing team, coaches, fans, referees and facilities. *
Required
I will help my child embrace his/her role on the team, no matter what it is. *
Required
I will not approach the coach before, during, or after a game to discuss playing time or lineups. *
Required
I will refrain from public complaints about coaches and other players. I realize I will not always agree with how the team is being coached but I know these reactions do not help. *

I will respect the challenges our volunteer coaches face and the time commitment they make. *

I will remember that children participate to have fun and that the game is for youth, not adults. *

I will make sure my child gets to all practices and games on time and is picked up on time. *

I will offer my help as a volunteer to leverage my skills, where possible. *

I will abide by all rules and embrace all the philosophies that encompass MBS. I realize this must be signed as a condition of my child's participation in MBS athletics. I understand failure to abide by the rules above could impact my child's ability to participate in MBS sports.
