Information on the Application Process

200-Hour Plumbing Journeyman Tier 1 Program Details

In partnership with MassHire/Commonwealth Corp, and with funding from CTI, Keefe at Night is offering a 200-hour trade preparation course in the Plumbing field at no-cost to participants. This course will include 110 hours of classroom theory as part of the MA 5-Tier Journeyman Program.  The program also includes OSHA certification,  90 hours of hands-on practice, and essential career development and employability skills training.

This CTI grant funded program is administered by Commonwealth Corporation on behalf of the Workforce Skills Cabinet. In partnership with the MassHire Metro South/West Career Center, Keefe at Night will administer the programs from the admissions application process to apprenticeship placement.

This program will provide a career pathway for individuals looking to enter the Plumbing Industry. Participants will also be assisted with identifying companies in need of apprentices. In order to join this program, interested individuals must complete the entire application process and meet all admissions requirements.

Terms and Guidelines
Students selected for the program commit to:

Attend the 200 hours of this program. 

Demonstrate maturity and respect for each other during class.

While attending the program, they commit to be proactive in search of a position or apprenticeship.

Keep Keefe at Night informed of their progress in gaining employment or apprenticeships.

Call in to inform the instructor in case of an emergency absence.

Abide by the rules set forth by the instructor, in particular when it comes to safety.
