Keep in mind that different students will have conflicting preferences. For example, some students really struggle with the readings and rely on lectures to fully understand the material, while more advanced students may be especially eager to participate in class discussions. It's impossible for me to please everyone, and in general, I will aim to strike a balance that is best for the class as a whole.
