This form is for BIPOC Deaf and Interpreters of Color who want to attend the Community POWER Network Gathering about Antiracist Interpreting.  

Completing this Application is basically asking us for an Invitation. The POWER Gathering will happen Thursday June 30 to Saturday July 2.

The goals of the Community POWER Network Gathering are:
1) to uplift grassroots Deaf by building solidarity and increasing awareness of antiracist interpreting
2) to fundraise for a campaign supporting antiracist interpreting and cover costs of Registration for participants
3) to learn about the BEACON model, and
4) to invest our commitment and dedication for this journey

We will screen the applications based on the goals from above. After you are Invited, you will be eligible to Register. We will begin sending emails about the result of your Application mid-March, with updates for new Applicants by the 15th of each month.

There are a limited number of spaces for the Community POWER Network Gathering.

Applications are accepted now until June 3, 2022.
