A baby’s first experience with the surrounding environment occurs through touch, developing prenatally as early as 16 weeks. Touch serves as a communication tool as it can positively stimulate and calm an infant. It aids short-term development during infancy and early childhood and also has long-term effects suggesting the power of positive, gentle touch right from birth.

Parents learn:

- Guided nurturing touch techniques and their benefits for all parts of the infant's body
- Address and relieve common infant concerns (gas, constipation, teething, mucus discomfort, etc.)

- Gentle movements and exercises to promote physical and motor development

* Either parent can attend the sessions. We encourage both parents to attend to promote family bonding and fathers also feel a lot more confident in caring for their newborn.
