The Eco-Craftastic Summer is a subscription-based club taking place in two, 4 week sessions in July and August 2020. Recommended for kids aged 6-10 and 11-15, this is a virtual club that involves one or two environmentally-focused crafting activities of your choice each week, guided by teaching artists and working with reclaimed materials from Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse. These clubs are designed to minimize kids' screen time. We will do our best to make it easy and safe for adults to pick up materials for the clubs in advance. Are you interested in the younger cohort (ages 6-10) or the older cohort (ages 11-15)? Please choose the age range that is appropriate for your child; these age ranges are a guideline. *

More than one child is interested in participating, and I would be interested in hearing more about both cohorts.

Activities for each week will be sent to you via email, and instructional materials will be uploaded to a shared Google Drive which requires internet access. Should your child participate in the club, are you willing and able to regularly access these materials each week?

While many of the guided activities will be demonstrated by paper instructions and a downloadable video, cohorts may occasionally participate in an online meet-up via Zoom or Google. You can use Zoom from a phone, and you do not need a webcam to use it. Does this work for you?

We can participate in online meet-ups if our schedule allows!

Materials for all four weeks of each club will be available for curbside pickup at Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse (214 North Lexington Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15208). Would you be able to pick up materials a week in advance of your club's start date?

A four-week session of the club will cost $200 per child, including all of the materials and some of the tools needed to complete the activities. Would a partial sponsorship make participating in the club possible for your child or children?
