Coronavirus Faith Capsule
As human beings we all have a story to tell. Some stories a long, some are short. Some stories we tell freely and others are more difficult to share. Some stories feature magnificent balls in fantastical locations and others consist in defeating the dragons rather closer to home. Yet every story deserves to be heard as a unique contribution to history. Through our faith in Jesus Christ, we have been invited to share in the greatest story of all – the story of salvation. Our story is no longer our own but something that is shared as we recognise the active presence of God in our lives, in the Church and in the world. As Christians, we are called to live that story of love with God at our side and, through His grace, to contribute towards writing the next chapter.
Inspired by the BBC’s Listening Project and the Holy Father’s call to become authentic storytellers, the Audavi Project has been created to record the experience of Catholics throughout the Archdiocese in the aftermath of the lockdown and beyond. What is our story of lockdown? How has it changed us? What has it meant for us as Christians? And what does this mean for the future?

If you would like to participate in the project, in a named or anonymous way, please complete this form, and Fr. Daniel will be in touch.
