In 2017, hurricanes ravaged Puerto Rico. SEND Relief has been there since the beginning and has established SEND Puerto Rico, which empowers Puerto Ricans to restore and strengthen their neighborhoods. Recent earthquakes in January 2020 have further created structural damage and emotional loss as communities have only just begun to feel safety and normalcy. SEND Relief augments the network and knowledge from local churches to identify and meet needs for anyone facing hardship.
