The OAGCT Cheryl Kennedy Memorial Award is a grant awarded to educators and is intended to:
     -Foster excellence within gifted and talented education.
     -Promote an understanding of giftedness through research.

Eligibility—Educators eligible to receive the scholarship must be:
     -Planning to participate in training in gifted and talented education
     -Proposing to implement a research project to contribute to the field of gifted and talented education.
 
Award—A $500 grant is awarded to a research project, or training in gifted and talented education such as a conference or the NAGC annual conference.

Along with the submitted google form, applicant needs to have an additional one to three letters of recommendation or support. These need to be emailed to awards@oagct.org by February 1st, 2024.

Completed Google Form needs to be submitted and letters of recommendation or support need to be received no later than February 1st, 2024.
