Hello and thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sustainable Tallahassee! This form is for volunteer opportunities related to our upcoming Sustainability Day Event with the Everyday Sustainability Committee!

When: Thursday, October 28, 2021. Start time TBD, but it will be in the evening.
Where: Happy Motoring, 1215 S Adams St, Tallahassee, FL 32301.
What: A fun and informative event at Happy Motoring! The event will feature a documentary screening highlighting the impacts of pollution as well as informational booths aimed at educating and empowering attendees to make sustainable changes in their everyday life.

Please review the below volunteer opportunities and select the options that interest you. An Everyday Sustainability Committee member will contact you with more specific instructions based on your selections. We will also email you information about upcoming event planning meetings.

Marketing - Hang flyers at local businesses or college campus (October 3 - October 24)

College Liaison - Contact environmental/sustainability focused campus organizations at FSU, TCC, and/or FAMU for additional volunteers and to help promote event.

Event Volunteer - Set Up: Will need to be present prior to its start to assist setting up chairs and tables.

Event Volunteer - Help run an educational table by engaging with attendees, explaining educational materials, sharing your personal sustainability story.

Event Volunteer - Tear Down: Will need to be present after the event is completed to return chairs and tear down tables.

Event Volunteer - Greeter: Greet attendees and check-in members. Provide drink tickets to registered members.

Educational Tables - Determine what information should be provided on tables, design and create table displays.
