The Leaders Readers Network's Student Ambassador Project Application
Welcome Students! If you are searching for ways to make an impact in your community and build your leadership skills - you have come to the right place!
The Leaders Readers Network is a community of teachers and students driven to create equal access to education for all children. Together, we empower teachers and students to impact their schools and communities by carrying out service projects that promote educational equity and literacy for all. We provide teachers and students with a network of support, resources, simple lesson plans, and leadership skills to inspire change inside and outside the classroom. When teachers and students are empowered with the right tools, together they can create real change.
The Student Ambassador program is a leadership and mentorship program for middle school, high school and college students. The program's mission is to increase awareness about students in need and provide books and school supplies to help foster their academic success. By joining our team of students, you will learn how to become a leader within your community, school campus, and worldwide! Student Ambassadors work with one another and teachers in their community to learn how to organize BookShare and Backpack service projects to support students in low-income communities.
