This workshop is about becoming more confident when speaking. This will be a short but impactful session in a supportive and collaborative environment. It's not about perfection, but perfecting one skill at a time, making adjustments and, most importantly, practicing and communicating! No matter if you are new to public speaking or just find yourself nervous to speak in a public setting, let's get GOING together.

About the speaker:
Laneice Runnels has a bachelor's degree in arts in Sociology from Fisk University. a Master of Science in the field of Human Services from Springfield College and an Honorary Doctorate from T.I.U.A School of Business. Expanding her 18 years of work experience, she currently serves as the District Director for the Department of Workforce Development covering Waukesha, Ozaukee & Washington Counties.
Laneice Runnels is known to spark motivation that lights up a room, and has served as the liaison between people and their dreams, helping them cultivate a purpose and action plan. She is an award winning "inspirational" author, TEDx speaker, and provides talks to corporate, government and nonprofit entities. She is strongly guided by the idea of serving others, living life to reach others, and in her words, “People look for the light at the end of the tunnel, not realizing they are the light within the tunnel.”
