Public Domain Month 2020 assessment
Several countries have organized Public Domain Day in the past: a day to celebrate the fact that works are out of copyright. During the Creative Commons Global Summit 2019 in Lisbon the idea was discussed to coordinate and promote (the organisation of) Public Domain Day internationally.

Because it is not achievable to organise this on the same day, the idea was adopted to dedicate the entire month of January to celebrations over the world. In other words:
1. Internationally share ideas and documentation for the events.
2. Support countries with organising the event for the first time.
3. Coordinate international communication about these events.
4. Attract international partners and sponsors.

This survey is to assess international interest in organising the event and to collect contact information of the people willing to contribute to the event. For questions, please contact Sebastiaan ter Burg: sebastiaan@opennederland.nl
