Dear Copper Canyon Singers and Parents,
The CCES Chorus will start rehearsals Thursday, August 25th. This is a volunteer after-school program, and all singers in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade are welcome. This semester our rehearsals will be on Thursdays from 2:45-3:30. A detailed schedule was passed out during music with dates of rehearsal. Keep that schedule for your reference.
Please read the following agreements and fill out this form as your student’s permission slip for participation in Chorus.
- Chorus rehearsals are in the afternoon from 2:45 to 3:30 in the music room.
- The cost of Chorus is $15. This is due by or on the first day of chorus.
- Promptness and attendance are essential because we learn new material every week. Please let me know in advance of conflicts.
- We follow PAWS expectations in Chorus. Students are expected to practice kindness, act respectfully, make wise and responsible choices and practice safety first. Not following these expectations can result in loss of participation.
We have three performances planned for the year so far. Updates will be given as details are available. I understand that occasionally other important events or illness might prevent your student from attending a performance. However, barring any unforeseen circumstances, by filling out the form, you are committing to participation in the performances. You are also agreeing that your student will be picked up in a timely manner within 15 minutes of chorus ending.
