One Bristol Curriculum: Invitation for Teachers Input
Bristol One Curriculum aims to broaden the current curriculum on offer by bringing our BAME past heritage into the present to more clearly reflect the communities that exist in Bristol and shape our future. We hope to offer alternative curriculum ideas/lessons/SOL, as well as community enrichment projects and role models, that will encourage schools to engage with BAME culture and history, providing a golden thread that runs across key stages and subjects. It is hoped that this will fall in line with the Bristol One City Plan and become a beacon other cities will want to attain to. In response to the Runneymede Trust report it is hoped that this will promote tolerance, understanding and celebration of all who live in Bristol.
