"I take my place" contest
This contest seeks to recognise and value the volunteer commitment of young Gaspesians and Magdalen Islanders between the ages of 18 and 35, while saluting their talents, creativity and determination.
This year's contest features two $1,000 bursaries. The first one will reward a regional winner who volunteers in the Gaspésie – Îles-de-la-Madeleine administrative region. The second bursary will be awarded to a Gaspesian or Magdalen Islander who is studying outside the region and is involved in his or her community.

NOMINATION FORM
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must:

- Be between 18 and 35 years of age during the nomination submission period;
- Have resided in Québec for at least one year;
- Be a Canadian citizen or hold permanent resident status;
- Have accomplished, as volunteers, social involvement activities in the Gaspésie Îles-de-la-Madeleine administrative regions that helped improve living conditions in their community within the last two years; and
- Submit their nomination file to the Commission jeunesse by November 30, 2020.
-      For students: be enrolled at school for 2020-2021

Documents required:
- Duly completed nomination form;
- Candidate’s résumé;
- If candidates are submitting nominations on their own behalf, a letter of support from an organisation active within the territory of the Gaspésie or Îles-de-la-Madeleine administrative region.
- Proof of your admissibility at school
