Are you a 2024 EWB club member? *
You must be a member of the club to nominate for a position or vote in our SGM. To join, or check your current membership status with EWB, go to https://umsu.unimelb.edu.au/buddy-up/clubs/clubs-listing/join/6685/ and check the heading where it says "JOIN". You'll have to log in first. Once logged in, it will say whether you have an active membership with EWB or otherwise ask you to purchase a FREE membership with EWB.
Nomination Information
We HIGHLY recommend that you nominate yourself for multiple positions if you would like to join committee in 2024. The more positions you nominate for, the more likely it will be that you are elected! You may change your nominations up until the SGM begins. During the SGM, the Returning Officer will make a final call for nominations before the speeches begin.
Nomination speeches
Everyone will receive exactly 60 seconds per nominated position to share why they would be a great fit for the role and the EWB team! If you are unable to attend the AGM, you will have the opportunity to send us your speech, which the returning officer will read out during the AGM. We highly recommend that you attend the AGM, as being present will increase your chances of election.
Position descriptions
We highly recommend that you consult the position descriptions before you complete your nomination. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the person currently occupying the position you wish to nominate for. If you are unsure who to contact, please email melbuni@ewb.org.au and we will put you in touch with someone who can help you.
