Are age 18+ and not currently parenting OR who are a family with at least one adult parent
Are of any ethnicity, creed or faith background
Can provide documentation of an initiated asylum claim (eg. credible fear interview, letter of representation from the Advocates for Human Rights, I-589 receipt)
Have a lawyer representing their asylum case
Have no other resources are currently available
Have no work permit or have just received it within the past 3 months
Are medically independent and chemically (addiction) free
Have a willingness and ability to live in a community setting where space, food preparation, household work, and living are shared.
Have a willingness to participate fully in the Jonathan House program.
Can complete their transition within 1 to 1.5 years
