Thank you for your interest in working at Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary.

This Halloween season we are curating an immersive themed experience that will include a variety attractions with the goal of providing safe, fun, high quality entertainment to raise funds used to help fulfill the mission of Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, Inc. All proceeds from the event are used to support the preservation and interpretation of this National Historic Landmark.

Specialty performance applicants must be excited to work in a collaborative environment where they will interact closely with guests and other performers.

We're looking for extraordinary talents capable of entertaining and drawing audiences' attention:
• Circus, Sideshow, Stilt Walkers, Stunt Street Performers, and Other Physical Actors.
• Object Manipulators, Flow and Movement Artists.
• Puppeteers, Magicians, Character Actors, and Interactive Entertainers.
• LED, UV, Glow, and Light-benders.
• Original Innovative Acts and Indescribable Talents that entertain crowds.

Information about open casting calls and auditions dates for performers and other roles can be found at www.EasternState.org/halloween/jobs. If your act requires extra equipment or prep time (e.g. fire, aerial, etc.) and an open casting call does not make sense for your skills, please fill out this Google Form to provide more information and let us know.

This year's Halloween festival kicks-off on Sept 21, 2023 and finishes on Nov 11, 2023.  

All performers must complete this application and bring it with them to their audition.
